THOMPSON: THE VIEW OF THE BRANDS

Thompson agency was celebrating 80 years in Brazil. And we wanted to do something special, not that obvious no-one-cares ad in the marketing press. Thompson had an envious asset: iconic love-brands as clients. So we took the packages of our clients products and turned them into photo cameras, using the archaic “pinhole” technic. We handed those unusual cameras to Brazil's top 23 photographers, who clicked the view of brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, Nestlé and Band-Aid. The resulting photos became a free exposition that was recommended by every entertainment guide of São Paulo and made to the TV news, magazines and newspapers - generating free media of 1 million Dollars for all Thompson clients and the agency itself.
